What is AfterPay?
Afterpay is a buy now, pay later lender that divides your total purchase amount into four twice-a-month payments. When you complete an order, you make the first of 4 payments, then pay the rest over 6 weeks.
How does ordering with AfterPay work?
Afterpay allows you to shop now and pay later. With Afterpay, your purchase will be split into 4 payments, payable every 2 weeks.
Simply add your chosen mural to the cart and choose Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. First-time customers will need to create an Afterpay account (with instant approval decision) and returning customers will simply log in to make their purchase. Your mural will be shipped to you by the Area Public after checkout. It’s that easy.
When will my first payment be taken?
Afterpay takes the first payment at the time you place an order with us. This is usually 25% of the total purchase price.
In all cases, you will be notified on screen if the first payment is due at the time of the purchase. Afterpay will also send you a confirmation email outlining the amounts and dates that the payments are due.
Why is my first payment higher than the other three?
For some purchases, if your total order amount exceeds your Afterpay-approved spending limit the first payment may be higher than subsequent payments. Afterpay will show you how the installments are split before you pay.
How do I make payments?
When you have an installment due, Afterpay will notify you beforehand so you can make sure that there is enough money in your account or that the card you have on file is current. Afterpay will directly debit your payment on your agreed payment date.
Can I change the due date of a payment?
You can change the due date of a payment yourself via Afterpay’s mobile app or website!
Which cards does Afterpay accept?
Afterpay accepts credit and debit cards from Mastercard, and Visa which were issued in your country of residence. They also accept digital forms of payment such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How much can I spend with Afterpay?
When you log into your Afterpay account, you will be shown an estimated amount you can spend. The amount you can spend using Afterpay generally changes based on how you use your account.
What can I buy on your site using Afterpay?
All items are available to purchase with Afterpay. The minimum purchase amount is $100.
Is Afterpay safe and secure?
Afterpay has achieved the highest level of payment data security in the world, set by the PCI Global Security Standards Council. This is known in the industry as Data Security Standard Level 1 and applies to all the major payment companies around the world. Achieving this standard includes accreditation to the highest level of:
